Another year has come and gone and I hope all of you had as much fun at the Festival as I did! From the well attended Parade with it's many entrants, the wide variety of Entertainment, the wonderful selection of tasty foods to the fun Events I think the committee did a wonderful job this year and deserve a standing ovation,(applause, applause)! New Event For 2010
Come join us for the preview of a future event for 2010. The MWRL will be hosting a lawn mower race this Saturday, Sept 26th at the Pull Field. They hope this will be the first of an annual event to be held in the future during the Roann Covered Bridge Festival. Gates will open at 8am, practice starts at 1
0am and the racing will begin at Noon. Entrance to watch is free! Concessions and bleacher seating will be available so bring your family down for a fun filled day of racing.
There will be at least one feature race, Briggs class with the possibility of a second, Modified class. If they have enough women a powder puff race will also be held, so come on girls lets show these men how it's done!
